Canvas is a full-screen, mobile experience that lets businesses and creators tell rich stories in a native, post-click environment designed to connect with audiences in a meaningful way. Canvas is tailored towards educating and acquiring customers for advertisers. It also solves the problem of slow website load times by nearly instantaneously loading upon ad click. Canvases can be created via the Canvas builder and are accessible through Page and ads creation interfaces. We are now opening the capability to create Canvases via the API.
This year’s Global Partner Summit is just a few weeks away. Taking place in San Francisco on October 18th and 19th, it’s our annual opportunity to show Facebook’s vision, present the product roadmap and connect with Partners, marketers and developers.
On Monday, November 23, we enabled Marketing Partners and marketers that leverage the Ads API to match on multiple data types at once to increase the coverage and accuracy for data file Custom Audiences. By expanding the Custom Audience matching capabilities, advertisers will see increased match rate (coverage) while maintaining the 1:1 match accuracy. Any data used for matching will still be hashed and all hashes will be deleted after the matching process
Today, we’re releasing v2.5 of the Marketing API and want to share more insight into the implications for how you build on Facebook Pages.
