Global Partner Summit 2017 kicked off today at the Palace of Fine Arts and Exhibition Center in San Francisco. With more than 800 people in attendance, this is the biggest Partner event of the year. It’s where teams from Facebook, Instagram and Messenger share product roadmaps, explore opportunities for growth and talk about key trends and insights that will help the Partner community build boldly into the future.
How do you build in a world that moves fast?
At this year’s Global Partner Summit, we’re encouraging Partners to Build Beyond. The summit – our biggest Partner event of the year – is happening October 4th and 5th at The Palace of Fine Arts and Exhibition Center in San Francisco. It’s our annual event where we talk about Facebook, Instagram and Messenger product roadmaps, share key opportunities for growth and give Partners a place to connect with each other and share ideas.
The Facebook Marketing Partners program is built on the idea that great things happen when the right solution meets the right need. We categorize partners based on the areas of expertise marketers need most because better partner matches improve performance for marketers.
We designed Facebook Marketing Partners to build better performance marketers through great partner matches. When we first piloted the program in 2015, we sought to recognize and reward excellence in eight categories of digital expertise. After careful consideration and in an effort to streamline the program, we’ll be winding down support for the Media Buying specialty for Facebook Marketing Partners and Instagram Partners.
In addition to the blog post last month on the Facebook Business website about the expansion of our people-based measurement partnerships, we’re proud to announce that we’re adding even more measurement partners to the Facebook Marketing Partner program. We’ve worked with many of these partners for years, and the partnerships demonstrate Facebook’s commitment to the third party measurement ecosystem. The sixteen new measurement Partners each have unique capabilities and help advertisers measure the audience outcomes, brand outcomes, and sales outcomes that matter to them.
Today, we’re excited to announce the addition of Instagram Partners (https://partners.business.instagram.com/)—a set of experts vetted for excellence ready to help businesses grow on Instagram. We created Instagram Partners to make it easier for advertisers of any size to find the best-in-class technology partners they need to get great results on our platform.
Small businesses drive economic growth around the world by creating jobs and opening new opportunities. Many of our 2.5 million active advertisers are small businesses, and they’re looking for simpler ways to market themselves effectively, especially through mobile devices.
We’re excited to announce today that ads launched in all advertisers globally from any market and of any size can run campaigns on Instagram. You’ll find documentation for the Instagram API on how to set up your account, get access, and start a campaign. Over the past few months, we’ve been working to make ads on Instagram available to more types of businesses.
Instagram is open for business to all advertisers, all developers, and in all countries. The Instagram community now has 400 million people active monthly! You’ll find documentation for the Instagram API on how to set up your account, get access, and start a campaign on September 30th.
All Facebook Marketing Partners now have just one place to visit for product, technical, and operational support. We’ve consolidated all Partner resources to make it easier to get answers to your questions, troubleshoot issues, report bugs or contact support directly.
