Enabling New Products and Formats in Audience Network

In the past year, the Audience Network has become one of the largest and best performing mobile ad networks in the world. Advertisers are seeing great results and to help drive more success, this week, we’re enabling new advertising objectives and formats in the Audience Network. Specifically, we are enabling the following:

  • Video creative for mobile app install ads (mobile app video ads): Video creative for mobile app ads (mobile app video ads) will appear in both interstitial and native format in the Audience Network.
  • Carousel ads: In this first phase, the carousel format, available for both mobile app and link ads, will support the first two images the advertiser uploads. We will enable additional images and cards over the next few weeks.
  • Dynamic product ads (DPA): Designed primarily for retailers and e-commerce businesses with large product catalogs to create personalized ads for their shoppers on Facebook, dynamic product ads are now eligible to run on the Audience Network. These ads will be displayed in the above mentioned carousel format or single creative format. All new dynamic product ads campaigns are currently eligible to deliver in the Audience Network via the API, with roll out in self-serve interfaces expected in the coming weeks.

Please note all new mobile campaigns with the above objectives or formats will be automatically opted-in to the Audience Network. You can also opt-in existing campaigns by simply checking the “Audience Network” under the placement section in your respective ads interface. If you do not want Audience Network delivery, you can de-select the Audience Network in this same placement section.
