Getting ready to do more together: Global Partner Summit 2016

This year’s Global Partner Summit is just a week away. Taking place in San Francisco on October 18th and 19th, it’s our annual opportunity to show Facebook’s vision, present the product roadmap and connect with Partners, marketers and developers.

We’ve announced selected speakers for the first day: Blake Chandlee, VP of Partnerships, is kicking off the two-day event with an introduction to the summit. Heather Freeland, Head of Global Marketing Communications, will talk about connections that count while David Fischer, VP, Business and Marketing Partnerships, is discussing the latest business trends that matter for Partners.

The first day will also highlight our product roadmap, while the second day will be divided into three different tracks. We’ll also be announcing the winner of Spotlight Innovator of the Year during the summit. The remaining speakers—including Facebook leadership and industry experts—will be announced soon.

If you’re unable to attend the summit in person, a number of the sessions will be broadcast via Facebook Live from the Facebook Marketing Partners Page . This will give you the opportunity to follow along with presentations and discussions while they’re happening, in real time. And, once the summit is complete, all of the sessions—keynotes, breakouts and Q&As—will be posted to the Facebook Marketing Partners website.

Our theme for this year is “Do more together.” Before the conference begins, think about what you want to do more of this year. It could be a small thing. It could be a big thing. It might be something you may not be able to achieve, but you’re going to try it anyway. Because when you do more, and you combine it with all the efforts from our community of Partners, marketers and developers, it adds up to something greater than the sum of the parts. The result is something none of us could have done on our own.

We can’t wait to see you at the summit.
