Introducing the Instagram Partners Program

Today, we’re excited to announce the addition of Instagram Partners —a set of experts vetted for excellence ready to help businesses grow on Instagram. We created Instagram Partners to make it easier for advertisers of any size to find the best-in-class technology partners they need to get great results on our platform.

Partner Specialties Our partners complement Instagram’s marketing tools, simplifying and scaling success for businesses through their propriety tools. We’re starting the program with 40 partners ( https://partners.business.instagram.com/ ) ready to power businesses around the globe in three key areas of expertise on Instagram: 1) ad tech, 2) community management and 3) content marketing.

  1. Ad Tech: Advertisers can easily manage ads throughout the planning, buying and optimizing process
  2. Community Management: Marketers can better interact and understand the Instagram community
  3. Content Marketing: Businesses can quickly create, curate and source content

Early Results for Advertisers Our Instagram Partners are already solving business challenges for our business community. In August, House of Blues Entertainment (@fillmorenc) turned to our partners to help sell tickets for an up and coming artist playing at its Charlotte, North Carolina location. Using Instagram’s targeting combined with Instagram Partner CitizenNet’s audience modeling, they targeted residents with similar musical tastes during a 13-day campaign. At the end of the campaign, they saw a 64% higher return on investment than their previous benchmark—inspiring them to extend their advertising efforts to 40+ venues in the US.

In Europe, Instagram Partner Smartly.io worked with Hawkers International , a fashion eyewear eCommerce business, to run carousel ads driving strong results. “Working with Smartly.io, we saw a 77% higher return on ad spend over our link ad campaigns—with a 26% lower cost-per-click and almost half the cost-per-action,” says Axel Ramírez, Lead Advertiser at Hawkers Co. “We’re delighted with the results from this new partnership.”

And it’s not just our business community that benefits from our new partnership. Instagram Partners are growing their own business’ while helping our advertisers grow theirs. “Advertisers are clamoring to unlock the power of Instagram’s massive and influential platform,” says James DeJulio, Co-founder, President and Chief Creative Officer at Tongal—an Instagram Partner helping businesses create and distribute content to engaged audiences on the platform. “Our clients are already seeing outsized returns by combining the work of Tongal’s community of independent filmmakers with Instagram’s ad platform.”

Our Partners Instagram Partners help solve a wide variety of business challenges—whether it’s driving more installs for a new mobile gaming app, or driving in-store foot-traffic during the holidays. We have partners available to help drive both brand and performance objectives across a wide range of businesses.

“Instagram gives brands a powerful platform to drive consumer awareness and action, and to reach new, qualified audiences,” says Laura O’Shaughnessy, co-founder and CEO of Instagram Partner SocialCode. “Since becoming an Instagram Partner, we’ve helped more than 40% of our client advertisers launch Instagram campaigns driving their objectives.”

We look forward to seeing our business community work with our Instagram Partners to discover and do great work on Instagram. As our partner program grows, we’ll continue to expand our offerings across even more specialties.
