Thanks to all who joined us for the 2015 Global Partner Summit at Pier 35 in San Francisco. This was not only our biggest summit event to date, it was also our most multifaceted and hands-on.

The 1-½ day event featured incredible keynotes from key leadership like Brian Boland and Sheryl Sandberg. Then we rolled up our sleeves in our in-depth breakouts and workshops, taking a closer look at everything from building to buying to new opportunities for growth.

Keynotes from Facebook leadership

  • Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg spoke on why partnership is so critical to Facebook, and why it remains an important focus for our growth
  • Mike Zeman from Netflix gave us a marketer’s view on how partners should approach businesses
  • Brian Boland talked about the Ad Tech ecosystem, how and why cookies are broken and how we are looking to fix it
  • Jim Squires announced the Instagram Partner Program, and how it can help grow the Instagram platform now and down the road
  • Boz spoke about the culture of Facebook and how that shapes what we do together

Breakouts tracks

  • Buy Our Buy track announced to media leads that Certification is coming for individuals early 2016 for individuals to be recognized as Subject Matter Experts on given tracks
  • Grow Our Grow track showed where the opportunities lie within our Programs (Facebook, Instagram, Atlas) and within businesses, specifically through a vertical and regional lens

And, of course, the after party is always a highlight.
