Starting on October 29th, slideshow will begin rolling out to advertisers globally. Slideshow is a new lightweight video ad made from a series of still images, which is easy for advertisers to use and is engaging for people. This product allows you to easily create video ads and reach more people on all devices, even those with lower bandwidth. Slideshow is primarily geared towards advertisers who want to extend the reach of video and to advertisers worldwide who don’t have video creative available.

Slideshow offers great value to both you and Facebook users because:

  • Ads are optimized to work on any internet connected device, including feature phones, smartphones, or tablets.
  • They consume less data that other a comparable length video, reducing ad load times and data cost for the consumer.

  • They give brands a customizable format to tell their story in a compelling way, without the need to build brand new creative, allowing advertisers to inexpensively and easily create slideshows and tap into the effectiveness of video ads.

== PRODUCT DETAILS ==

Advertiser can use between 3-7 images to create a short slideshow video:

  • Control the speed at which images progress, up to 15 seconds total
  • There is no sound for slideshows
  • Slideshow can be combined with any Facebook targeting such as bandwidth, device, or demographic targeting.
  • For best playback, images should be the same size and ratio
