Upgrades to Ads Manager and Power Editor

Starting this month, you will begin to see significant upgrades to our Ads Manager and Power Editor interfaces. We are launching these improved experiences to make it easier to buy, optimize and manage ads on Facebook.

Ads Manager will now feature a streamlined layout that brings performance metrics to the forefront of the tool. Over the coming weeks, we will be introducing the following updates to Ads Manager:

  • Integrated reporting: See all the metrics that matter to you, right from one consolidated view
  • Faster editing and testing: Now you can bulk edit all your ad settings, such as targeting and budget, and duplicate successful ads, all from one place
  • Powerful insights: Instantly see how your ads are performing with new charts to help you make more informed decisions for your advertising

Similarly, we are updating Power Editor to offer a larger and more functional layout for creating ads and improvements to advanced search and bulk editing, so you can easily find and edit existing ads and create new ones. We will be introducing the following updates to Power Editor:

  • Updated powerful search and filters
  • More features for creating, editing and managing ads in bulk
  • Functional working space to make it easier to edit ads or view campaign information
  • New reporting functionality within the interface
  • In product Help center content

You can learn more about the updates to Power Editor here: http://fbrep.com/guides/Facebook_Power_Editor_Overview.pdf . We will also have blueprint modules for both interfaces starting today.

Timing: The rollout timeline for both interfaces will be gradual over the next 6-8 weeks, starting with a small % of our advertisers initially. There will be opt-out functionality for both interfaces.
